A: In Your Kitchen helps people and families with busy lives eat better, and more importantly, with ease and convenience. We prepare market fresh, healthy food in your home kitchen and store the meals in the refrigerator or freezer based upon your lifestyle needs. Best of all, we create personalized menus just for you and unique to your dining preferences and dietary requirements. In Your Kitchen is a great way to ensure that you and your family are eating well, while enabling you to save valuable and precious time.
Q: How does this service work?
A: First, is the in-home client assessment where we will go over a detailed food questionnaire so I can understand your dining preferences, any special dietary needs, and lifestyle requirements. Then based on your preferences, I create sample menus for your approval and will schedule a cook date. On your scheduled day, I will do all the grocery shopping and come to your home to prepare your meals. Your meals will be packaged and labeled with complete instructions on how to enjoy them. You will come home to a clean kitchen and food ready to heat and eat.
Q: What does the service cost?
A: Pricing varies depending on the number of entrees and servings prepared. The cost of groceries and containers is not included in the service price allowing you to maximize control over the final costs of your menu plan. Please contact me for a quote based on your needs.

•In-home client consultation (food questionnaire and kitchen review)
•Personalized menu research and planning
•Grocery shopping (The cost of groceries is not included in the service price.)
•Meal preparation, packaging, labeling, and storing

•Dry goods pantry (oils, vinegars, spices, baking staples)
Q: Do you cook in my kitchen?
A: All meals are prepared in the safety of your home kitchen and I also bring my own equipment.
Q: How long will you be in my kitchen?
A: Typically, the service takes about four to seven hours from arrival to kitchen clean up. The length of time depends entirely on the quantity of meals prepared and the type of menu selected for the cook date.
Q: Do I have to be home when you come to cook?
A: You do not have to be home on your scheduled cook date as long as appropriate arrangements are made in advance for access to your home.
Q: How is the food packaged?
A: Packaging options will be discussed at the initial client assessment. Usually clients choose either Pyrex or Corningware containers that can go straight from the fridge to the oven. Re-usable plastic containers such as Gladware or Ziploc are another option.
